Harry Campbell (left) performed as a professional solo musician and with various bands for many years and sang everything from rock
to sakkie. Later he shared these experiences with his famous sons (Die Campbells).
He has also performed in Europe, Ireland and
with his brother Charles did a pre-show in England in 2008 at the Shadow mania show where the real Shadows still perform every year
to this day.
Harry has also performed with all the big name artist in SA, like Die Campbells, Steve Hofmeyer, Kurt Darren, Juanita
du Plessis, Nicholis Louw, Theuns Jordaan etc… on major festivals.
Harry received an IFM award for his group “Harry & The
Hot Shots” They were crowned as the best country group for 2004, with a number one hit called “I would if I could, but I can’t
so I won’t”.
Bryan Arundel (right) is a Welshman and an accomplished lead guitarist. He grew up in Swansea, Wales, UK.
During the golden age of
Rock and Roll Bryan played with all the musicians of the swinging 60’s and shared the stage with many big name artists in England
like Jet Harris, Alvin Stardust, Chris Montez, Vera Lynn, Kenny Lynch, Ricky Valence etc… and over the years he has perfected the
magical sound of the Shadows.
Bryan has played all over the UK during the sixties and has been on radio and on the Rick Wakeman television
show with his UK band. His band was also part of the TV documentary Rock and Roll Tour Bus of the 1960 UK bands..
