During 2012-2013, Daniele joined artists worldwide in celebrating the 50th anniversary on the death of Edith Piaf.

 

Daniele released 8 bestselling albums under her label Crazee Records with partner Eugene Lebreton.

 

In South Africa, Daniele was the first recording artist to successfully released recordings on Leonard CohenJacques Brel and Edith Piaf.

 

Another daring project that would have featured the late Johannes Kerkorrel in collaboration was to release a crossover album adapting Afrikaans songs into French. Unfortunately due to the untimely death of Johannes, the project was postponed. Much later Daniele recorded and released Tydloos in 2003, featuring the hit single Les Chant des Alisees. For this song Daniele's poetry was arranged and set to the music of the late Koos Du Plessis' Kinders van die Wind. This double platinum seller is now available on download only.

 

Born and raised in Toulon, the South of France, Danièle made her stage debut at the early age of five. She joined the Conservatoire D'art Dramatique where she played the great French classics, Greek Tragedies and Comedies. Her interest in languages guided her to North America and Canada where she became actively involved with the artistic community and began her career performing in musicals, comedies, music –theatre, and cabarets, developing an adoring audience.
 
She performed in Canada and USA, in a variety of stage productions such as Fiddler on the roof, Man of La Mancha, The Boyfriend, Hello Dolly, Tartuffe, Cabaret, Come blow your Horn, The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Rebecca, The Maids, Les Belles Soeurs, The Rovers, You can't take it with you and various Piaf and Brel productions.
 
As a music theatre /dinner-theatre pioneer, Danièle remains an influential force on the South African entertainment circuit since her arrival in South Africa in 1985.  She inspired many South African performers with her style of music and theatre presentation.
 
Always the innovative cultural activist, she introduced South African audiences to various music genres ranging from Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Peggy Lee, Eatha Kitt, Marlene Dietrich, Cabaret, Music theatre, French Café songs, Chanson, Berlin cabaret, Rock musicals, French Jazz, FAK  songbook adaptations into French, to works diverse as Berthold Brecht and Kurt Weill, Federico Garcia Lorca, Marianne Faithful and Leonard Cohen - a long time friend whom she performed with during her sojourn in Canada.
 
In 2006, Danièle received the prestigious Western Cape Services Award for Outstanding achievement of Women in the fields of Arts, Culture by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport.
 
Danièle is a sought-after entertainer and speaker at corporate events and clients include banking, automotive, medical, financial, hospitality, cruise ships, wine and spirits, mining, aviation, just to name a few.
 
She appeared as soloist on numerous occasions with the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra, Cape Town Philharmonic, KZN Philharmonic and Namibian National Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras.
 

She performs regularly at French events either arranged by The Alliance Francaise, the French Embassy or French Consulate. She often features at Bastille Day Celebrations.A few years ago she sang the French National Anthem, La Marseillaise, to a full standing ovation at an International televised rugby match in Durban,South Africa
